Marketplace rules

Last updated: 21 September 2026. By using the Feltham Deals Marketplace you agree to these rules.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over. The marketplace is for people selling or giving away their own personal items locally. It is not for businesses selling stock.

How sales work

FelthamDeals does not take payments, hold money, inspect items or take part in any sale. Buyers contact sellers directly by WhatsApp or email using the details on the listing, agree a price between themselves, and pay when they meet. Never pay before you have seen the item.

What you can't list

Weapons of any kind (including knives, replicas, crossbows and pepper spray), drugs and drug equipment, alcohol, tobacco and vapes, medicines and prescription items, animals, counterfeit, stolen or recalled goods, adult items, personal documents, and anything that is illegal to sell in the UK.

How to behave

Describe items honestly, including faults. Don't harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone. Put your WhatsApp number or email in the contact boxes only, never in the title or description, and never post your home address. Don't spam or post the same item repeatedly.

Meeting safely

Meet somewhere busy and public in daylight, and bring someone with you if you can. Check the item before paying. Be wary of anyone offering to pay by courier, overpaying, or asking for codes sent to your phone — these are common scams.

Reporting and moderation

Use "Report this listing" on anything that breaks these rules. Listings with several reports are hidden automatically while they are reviewed. We may remove any listing or message and block any user who breaks these rules, and we will pass suspected crimes to the police.

To complain about content or a moderation decision, email business@felthamdeals.co.uk. We aim to reply within 5 working days.

Your listings and contact details

Your WhatsApp number and email are shown to anyone who taps "Show contact" on your listing. They stop being shown when you mark the item sold, delete the listing, or after 30 days when the listing expires. Your listings are linked to the browser you use; clearing your browser data means losing access to manage them.

Liability

The marketplace is provided as it is. Nothing in these rules limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
