Heathrow Airport — Local Guide for Feltham
Feltham is just minutes from Heathrow. This guide brings together useful airport information, travel options and local resources for residents, passengers, visitors and families.
Heathrow from Feltham
Living close to Heathrow means the airport can be useful for more than flights. Feltham residents can use it for travel, employment, transport connections, airport services and access to nearby hotels and businesses.
Getting to Heathrow from Feltham
Check the latest operator information before travelling because routes, times and airport arrangements can change.
Airport pick-up and meeting points
All Heathrow terminal drop-off zones carry a charge (£7 per entry at the time of writing) for taxis and private vehicles, paid online by midnight the next day. To avoid it entirely, use the free drop-off available at Heathrow's Park & Ride car parks, which have a free shuttle bus to the terminal — useful if you have a few extra minutes rather than a tight schedule.

Heathrow parking
Heathrow's official parking products are: Park & Ride (formerly Long Stay — the cheapest official option, with free frequent buses to the terminal), Terminal Parking (formerly Short Stay — closest to the terminal, at a higher price), Meet & Greet (drive up, hand over your keys at the terminal), and Valet Parking (similar to Meet & Greet, with digital vehicle inspection).
Worth knowing: from 23 June 2026, Terminal Parking is no longer available at Terminal 4 due to redevelopment work — all Terminal 4 passenger parking has moved to Zone A of the Terminal 4 Park & Ride car park.
Official starting prices (per Heathrow's own comparison table, from a snapshot on 28 August 2026 — these change by date and how far ahead you book, so treat as a guide to relative cost, not a quote):
- Terminal Parking (1–2 min walk) — from £8.00 for 29 minutes
- Park & Ride (15 min shuttle) — from £46.80, cheapest official option
- Priority Park & Ride (under 10 min shuttle, Terminals 2/3/5 only) — from £47.90
- Pod Parking (driverless pod, ~6 min, Terminal 5 only) — from £59.60
- Meet & Greet / Valet (1–2 min walk, keep your keys) — from £143.40
Always book ahead rather than turning up on the day, which is consistently the most expensive option.
