Disabled Parking
Important: a Blue Badge does not have automatic legal force on private land like a supermarket car park — it's mainly for public roads. On private land, it's the Equality Act 2010 that protects disabled shoppers, requiring stores to make "reasonable adjustments."
In practice, this means: don't assume simply displaying your Blue Badge is enough at a car park with ANPR time-limit enforcement. Some stores (Asda in particular has a documented history of this) require you to register your Blue Badge and vehicle details at the Customer Service desk before you're exempt from the time limit — just having the badge on display hasn't always been treated as sufficient.
What we'd recommend: on your first visit, register at Customer Service if the car park uses ANPR, and always display your Blue Badge regardless. If you're wrongly issued a Parking Charge Notice as a disabled shopper, you have a strong basis to appeal under the Equality Act 2010 — contact the store directly first.
Exact policies can vary by store and change over time — we haven't been able to confirm the current specific arrangement for each Feltham store individually, so ask a staff member on arrival if you're unsure.
⚠️ General guidance based on documented UK-wide practice and known Equality Act 2010 protections — not confirmed specifically for each Feltham store. Checked 23 August 2026.

🅿️ Parking & how to avoid the charge
The car park (shared with The Centre Feltham shopping centre) is monitored by ANPR — it is not automatically free. To get free parking:
1. Spend £10 or more in Asda.
2. Show your receipt to any Asda staff member, who will issue you a voucher.
3. Scan that voucher at the pay machine before you leave, to get 2 hours free.
If you don't validate before leaving, you risk a Parking Charge Notice. Full terms are posted on signage in the car park.

🅿️ Parking
Tesco's own policy is that parking is free at most stores, but time-limited — the exact maximum stay is shown on signage in the car park itself, and can vary by store. Unlike Asda, Tesco doesn't generally run a minimum-spend/receipt-scan scheme — just make sure you're back within the posted time limit.
If you overstay, Parking Charge Notices at Tesco stores are typically £70 (reduced to £40 if paid within 14 days), or £100 (reduced to £60) depending on the operator — check the notice itself for details.

🅿️ Parking & how to avoid a charge notice
Lidl car parks are typically ANPR-monitored nationally, with a free stay limit (commonly around 90 minutes–2 hours at other branches) — you usually need to scan your receipt at a machine in the car park before leaving to validate your visit, or you risk a Parking Charge Notice.
We couldn't confirm the exact time limit or receipt-scanning requirement specifically for this Feltham store — check the signage in the car park on arrival, and keep your receipt until you've left, just in case.
